Chanel Spring-Summer 2018

You know Chanel will always have a special place in my heart, and of course, every Paris Fashion Week, all of us fashion lovers, are waiting for the Chanel magic to happen. Even that I couldn't make it this time, Ill leave you here my #runwayreport.

The Setting

Nos ha tocado desde un supermercado, hasta una Torre Eiffel y un cohete, y este año Karl Lagerfeld nos sorprendío con unas cascadas amazónicas... por supuesto, impresionante, para una marca, impresionante.

Olanes, moños, lanas y combinaciones entre pantalones y falda, chamarras con saco... Chanel no nos dejó de soprender con su capacidad para reinventarse, adaptarse y mantenerse fiel a la marca... si me quedara una pieza, sería el vestido blanco con el moño negro. Karl, gracias por otra temporada que nos hace soñar.

Girl Crush with Bobbi Brown

Just a few days ago, I went to NY to spend some time with the amazing Bobbi Brown team, as they invited some girls for the launch of the most recent lipstick line. Of course, they planned the whole thing amazingly well, and every day we got to spend some time with different iconic girls ( #bbgirlcrush). Ill let you do the math... but my fave #bbgirlcrush is tall and worked in the fashion biz for a while... 

 Well, let cut to the chase and let's revisit together this amazing experience!

// Buen día mis preciosos, hoy les hago un "recap" del viaje y las actividades que hace unas semanas tuve en Nueva York con Bobbi Brown. Ustedes saben que amo todo lo relacionado con belleza (colecciono lipsticks, por cierto), y trabajar con una marca como Bobbi Brown siempre es una delicia. 

Durante el viaje, conocimos la nueva línea de labiales de la marca, y por supuesto, la marca organizó actividades diarias donde conocimos en tres días diferentes a mujeres inspiradoras que son #bbgirlcrush ... bueno, no hay traducción exacta, pero lo que #bbgirlcrush quiere decir, es que son unas buenazas en lo que hacen, y por supuesto, llevan una larga carrera inspirando a mucha gente. 

No les cuento más... y acompáñenme a este recorrido en fotos =)

1st Day 

There's beauty in simplicity, and nature has it's own way of painting a smile in every girls' face when it comes to the flower world. Our first #bbgirlcrush were both Lisa Salzer and Tess Casey. They both make beautiful floral arrangements and of course we had a crash-course on how to make the perfect flower crown. Limitless imagination is key, and of course, Bobbi Brown trated us like Manhattan Royalty during the workshop. If you already know me, you would know I LOVE flowers...

El primer día, conocimos  Lisa Salzer y Tess Casey, quienes a través de su exquisito gusto se han convertido en celebridades en cuanto a la decoración con flores se refiere. Ya me conocen, me encantan las flores, así que fue mi hit que nos enseñaran los principios para hacer el arreglo perfecto, y por supuesto, salimos cada una con una preciosa corona en la cabeza!

2nd Day

You know me well, there's nothing I like more than having breakfast in bed... 

On the second day, we had a bunch of activities, and of course visiting equinox was one of them. I got to know Bec Donlan and Traci Copeland... to be honest, they almost get me killed, but after making a quick summer recap and If I'm honest to myself, I skipped most of my gym time during summer... so these girls made me pay the bills =)

After our gym time, we had a "makeup class" with the Bobbi Brown makeup artist team and after that, we had some time to create streetstyle content in SOHO. Well, you know I both love dressing pretty and walking down the concrete runway =) //

El tercer día estuvo lleno de actividades y por cierto, casi muero en la clase que tuvimos en equinox... si me han seguido en mis redes, se habrán dado cuenta que no anduve muy disciplinada en el ejercicio durante verano, así que tengo que retomar ahora mi rutina con ejercicio, jaja. 

Bueno, después de pasar por Equinox, fuimos a que nos dieran un curso sobre makeup con el "makeup" artist de Bobbi Brown. Después de esto, salimos todas guapas a hacer fotos en Soho, y ya me conocen, me encantó la idea, jaja. 

Friends from Spain... we happy girls =). That day, we also had an amazing cocktail- making class with Yola Mezcal founders Yola Jimenez and Gina Correll. Imagination is key people... never forget to have fun in every single way possible... 

3rd Day

Fave lunch ever... meeting  Jenna Lyons and being served by chefs Kristen Kish and Missy Robbins. AMAZING food, brilliant company, and of course, I got tons of insporation from all the #bbgirlcrushes I met during the trip. If one thing I learnt from all these amazing girls is: do what you love and every single day try to be better than the day before!

 There´s no better place to party than with the NYC skyline as backdrop... and of course, I loved the Girl Crush Party with Bobbi Brown. Photobooth, amazing tones of pink as in their latest lipstick line, and of course, the best part of all: inspiration to be the future´s #bbgirlcrush.

Father's Day with Timex

My loves, today I'm sharing this special post with my Dad. I've partnered with Timex for this special occasion to celebrate our wonderful Dads and the joy of spending time with them. Nowadays,our schedules packed, and time is the most precious gift we could ever hope for.

I #TakeTime to spend time with my loved ones, with the ones I cherish and love the most. Dior Cruise 2018 - Runway Report

The Setting

When words fail to describe the amazing, well, pictures often do a better job, and this year, Christian Dior presented the Cruise collection in the most amazing setting, California`s golden plains. 

// Este año, la clásica Casa de moda Francesa Christian Dior presentó su colección Cruise en las doradas colinas de California y por supuesto, tanto la colección como la puesta del desfile estuvieron espectaculares, y aquí les dejo mi "Runway Report"

My Fave Looks

Contrario a lo que se presentó en París la temporada pasada (que fue todo en azules), Maria Grazia Chiuri presentó un colorido desfile donde los ponchos, faldas, sombreros y botas fueron el centro de atención. Con detalles en tonos coloridos pero siempre tendiendo a los crudos, Dior incorporó lo que siempre me ha encantado: la combinación de texturas. Piel con plumas, lana y tejidos pesados con seda... botas con falda, botas con vestido, todo espectacular. 

Accesorios: siempre clásicos de la marca. Sombreros divinos, y la bolsa (que ahora se lleva en la mano y no cruzada) y por supuesto, "Bling" en las manos con pulseras coloridas... otra colección que usaría todita =)

During march, Dior presented it's FW17 collection all in blues... and for this Cruise collection, Maria Grazia presented a superb collection that left us all in awe: boots, hats and ponchos with long skirts and impeccable dresses.

Combining textures like thick wool with flowy silk, or feathered skirts with see through exquisite blouses... this collection is stunning in every sense. Dior will always have a special place in my heart: chic, french and exquisite Dior will always be my choice.

Gabrielle Chanel bag

Well, hello loves... all times are Chanel times, and today on our story, we're talking about the new Gabrielle Bag... yup, it's got the name of it's founders, and I'm sure this bag will be part of the brand's history.

Chanel, we all know it,  is one of Fashion's columns. If you speak english, spanish, chinese, japanese or french, I'm sure if you're into the fashion world, you speak Chanel, right? Well, the French Brand has launched a new bag with a unique design, and to be honest, it's a chic, practical and amazing one.

Departing from it's classic 2.55 and "boy" models, the Gabrielle bag has an opening in the upper part of the bag... with easy Access to anything we might need. Of course, it has the usual metalwork in both silver and gold, and the one I have for this editorial, well, has two of my fave colors ever: black and cream.

Regarding the look, well, you know me... I like classics with a twist, so I went for this wide denim, White t, and a long black blazer... and to be completely honest with you, when the bag is so amazing, the rest are just details.

Buen día mis queridos, hoy les dejo esta historia sobre la nueva bolsa que Chanel lanzó al mercado. Empecemos por el nombre: Gabrielle. Eso lo dice todo; al llevar el nombre de la fundadora de la marca, estamos seguros que será un clásico.

Vendrá en varios colores y texturas (piel, lanas típicas de la marca y por supuesto, materiales exóticos), pero para hacer este editorial, decidí optar por una clásica en dos de los tonos que más me gustan; negro y crema. Algo que me encantó de esta bolsa fue la combinación tanto de plateado y dorado... ya saben, la eterna lucha por saber si usar un color u otro (resuelto con esta bolsa)

Del look bueno, que les digo... cuando una bolsa es tan bonita, créanme, va con cualquier cosa, pero en este caso decidí ir por un look tradicional con un "twist"... pantalones de mezclilla amplios, saco largo en negro y una simple t-shirt en blanco... porque les repito, la bolsa es la pieza central.

Si quieren tener una bolsa que estoy segura se va a volver un clásico... bueno, ya saben cuál comprar; no solamente lleva el nombre de la fundadora, sino además tiene un diseño chic, práctico y con el sello de la casa Francesa.

Colorful San Miguel de Allende

Hello loves, today I'm sharing a story about this wonderful jacket during my last stay in the beautiful town of San Miguel de Allende...

The whole outfit is from a new store of a friend of mine in San Miguel that has mexican designers.

Well... last weekend hubs and I had the chance to spend some days in the colorful and beautiful town of san Miguel de Allende. We stayed at this amazing Hotel called Casa No Name, where we decided to shoot this outfit that to be honest, got me since Hello.

If you've seen my IG gallery or my closet, you'll notice I absolutely adore colors (black too, but that's another story), and when I saw this beautiful jacket at the KM33 San Miguel store located inside our hotel... well, you know me... if it's beautiful and you're staying at an amazing hotel such as this... we gotta blog it!

As the jacket itself has a lot of colors, textures and attitude, I went for solids on both the pants and the t-shirt...  that way, all the attention was to the beautiful jacket.

Bonita semana queridos! Perdón que me desapareci unos días pero ya ando de regreso. Les cuento que fui unos días a uno de mis lugares favoritos en Mexico (y que cuando sea viejita me quiero ir a retirar ahí por cierto)... y si, adivinaron bien: San Miguel de Allende.

Seguramente muchos lo conocen y los que no, les recomiendo mucho ir. Y bueno, les cuento que una amiga querida acaba de abrir una nueva tienda en San Miguel que se llama KM 33 y justo todo mi outfit es de su tienda. Lo relevante de la tienda, además de ser lo increìble que está puesta, es sin duda que es de diseñadores 100% mexicanos. Todo, desde las bolsas, la ropa, zapatos y joyería, todo es de puro Mexicano... y la verdad, da orgullo ver proyectos así de bien logrados con puro talento Mexicano. Así que si van en estos días o algún día pronto a San Miguel, no dejen de pasar a la tienda de KM33 que está adentro de un hotelazo que se llama Casa No Name...

Les dejo las ligas tanto del Hotel, como de la tienda KM 33... para que le echen un vistazo y obvio, le den una vuelta pronto. En estos días subire otro post un poco mas pintoresco en las calles de San Miguel para que se den una idea de como es.
