Over the knee boots... love em' or hate em'

Happy Sunday loves!!! Today´s post its all about over the knee boots...

I know that over the knee boots have been on racks for a while but oh, God how I love them... As I mentioned before, I was a bit scared to use them as I'm not as tall as the models that normally use them in ads, hehe, but as I've mentioned you before, in this fashion business, I always love to try new trends. 

For this post, I'm wearing  Stuart Weitzman suede boots in black, and my fashion tip for today is that dark boots help my legs look longer and leaner. I paired it with my oversized grey wool sweater to keep the outfit on a neutral palette (you have noticed I love neutrals, right?)

Tight denim, skirts, shorts or an oversized sweater are among the options I thought for the OTK boots, but one thing I'm sure of... I love their height, their comfort and their look. What about you guys? Love em, hate em? Don't forget to leave your comments.

Buen Domingo queridos!! Hoy quiero contarles sobre mi segunda experiencia con las botas OTK (over the knee boots, o sobre las rodillas). Como se los había dicho, me daba un poco de miedo usarlas porque como no soy muy alta (comparada con las modelos de revista que siempre las promocionan) no sabía si se me iban a ver bien o no, pero confirmé que en la moda lo más importante son las proporciones.  

Esta vez escogí estas Stuart Weitzman que compre en una tienda que se llama Gran Vía donde pueden encontrar distintos zapatos de marcas como Jimmy Choo, Aquazzura, Gianvito Rossi etc para que luego se den una vuelta y vayan de shopping jaja. Ya saben que es algo que casi no nos gusta a la mujeres jiji.

Bueno de regreso al outfit, en esta ocasión lo combiné con un suéter gris de lana con cuello. La verdad es que estos días no han estado tan fríos aquí en la Ciudad de México pero creo que es un outfit que lo pueden usar tanto en climas un poco más fríos como en climas de más calorcito, lo que si, es que no creo que sea ideal para verano, jaja.

Backpack love with COACH

Happy Holidays loves!!! I hope you're enjoying your vacations and the cold weather... (if you're not at the beach of course). I love the cozyness about the season, and of course, all about thick, chunky garments in our outfits...

Today's post is about how to add lambskin into your outfits. As many of you know, Mexico City has a pretty a pretty stable climate year round... we might have some peaks and lows, but it's pretty consistent. That being said, I find myself wondering how to use all the amazing fall and winter clothing when I'm in town. A have a few coats, but lambskin is simply too much for Mexico City... and then, Coach just presented a wonderful backpack with lambskin on it. 

Big, roomy and with all the amazing lambskin, this backpack became one of my faves and I'm telling you why. First, lambskin is one of my fave cold-weather materials, and this backpack has a lot of it... (of course, the base of the backpack leather to prevent quick stains). Second, its roomy, and being a girl these days is all about fitting half of our wardrobe in our bags, haha... In this backpack, I fitted my laptop, two lipsticks, extra Iphone battery, wallet, cardholder, make-up bag, and of course, some love to share, haha... and all that fitted perfectly.

So if you still haven't found your perfect backpack, don't forget grab on of these, as they're the perfect accessory to add a touch of lambskin to your wardrobe. Lots of love, Pam.  

Buen miercoles queridos, estamos a unos días de terminar el año y yo feliz como siempre de estar con ustedes. Hoy les quiero platicar sobre un nuevo descubrimiento: el backpack. Siempre había pensado que era un accesorio  masculino, pero hace poco descubrí porque Pablo (mi esposo) ama su backpack, y la respuesta es sencilla: le cabe absolutamente todo y además es muy práctico. Por ejemplo, a este le cupo: mi kit de maquillaje, mis lentes, mis pastillitas de menta, las llaves de mi casa, mi coche, mis tarjetas de presentación (por supuesto) y además una playera que traía abajo de esto suéter, pero hizo tanto calor que la tuve que guardar. 

Y hablando de calor, debo confesar que me encanta esta tela que se llama "borrego", y este modelo de backpack tiene mucho y lo amo... lo malo es que en el DF casi no tenemos frío en meses de invierno, e integrar esta tela a nuestros outfits es muy muy complicado si morirnos de calor. Gracias a Dios, llegó a mis manos este backpack con borrego y fue mi solución perfecta a mi amor por el "borrego" y a mi necesidad de cargar mil cosas siempre... (olvidé mencionar que cupo hasta mi laptop jaja). Ustedes saben que amo las bolsas, pero los backpacks se han vuelto una alternativa "chic" para las niñas que necesitamos cargar muchas cosas durante nuestro día... así que para este regreso a clases, trabajo o lo que sea que hagan, no dejen de considerar un backpack como un accesorio para su clóset.
