Bowshirt...

Happy Sunday loves!!! Hope you had a great weekend as I did... today we end our black denim series...

Bow tie blouse, black jacket, black pointers and of course black denim make me remember the legend Yves Saint Laurent. You know by now I absolutely adore black, and this guy just happened to make the all black rock-and-roll style cool forever... and for that, I absolutely love him. 

The main advantage of black denim is that we can make it as dressy and glam as we want... it all depends on what shoes and what we use in our upper body. White-t and kicks give black denim a whole saturday-to-the-movies look, but put some killer shoes, a nice shirt, and your fave jacket and you can make a quite good impression at any event. 

For this post, I went for my fave silk-bowtie shirt, my high waisted fave jeans (you know that high waisted jeans help us sculpt our legs and thighs?) and my new black patent leather lace-up pointers to win the game. To be honest, I could use some jodpur boots, but I had to take these pointers for a stroll sometime... and after using them for a while, I'm happy to say that these pointers are make for walking. 

So, three different outfits and one choice of denim, just to remind you that there are some key items in our closet that can be as versatile as we want them to be. If you don't have your fave jeans in black, go grab a pair and use them with kicks, pumps, pointers, flats or with flip-flops.

Buen domingo queridos!! ¿Como los trato el fin de semana? Como siempre a mi me encanta el fin pero ya cuando empieza a terminar el domingo me aterra un poco la cantidad de trabajo que hay para la semana, jaja, pero gracias a Dios tengo la bendición de trabajar en lo que más me gusta... y eso, hace todo mucho más sencillo. 

Hoy terminamos la serie sobre los jeans negros o mezclilla negra. Ya saben que me encanta el negro, y este outfit es en honor a quien hizo los looks monocromáticos y con toque "rockanrollero" que fueran "cool" desde hace muchos años, y me refiero a Yves Saint-Laurent. "El rey del rockn'roll cool" siempre hizo que la mezclilla negra, la piel, el charol, los moños y los sombreros...

Para este outfit combiné los jeans negros con un saco tipo blazer largo con botones dorados, mi camisa favorita (con moño porque ya saben que soy una romántica) y unos zapatos nuevos que estrené... son flats y con punta, y la verdad tenía el miedo de que fuera incómodos, pero después de más de tres horas de caminata, la verdad me no me molestaron nada... (eso hizo que ahora los amé más jajaja). Usé una de mis bolsas favoritas de Coach (monocromática y práctica por la cadena larga) para mantener el look en blanco y negro, y como siempre para complementar, la sonrisa. 

Si todavía no tienen unos jeans negros, no dejen de buscar unos. Cuídenlos mucho, lávenlos poco para que mantengan la forma y el color... y van a ver que será una pieza que les durará mucho en su clóset.
