Pero si prefieres otros tipos de ejercicio, reserva un hotel con gimnasio.  Pero, si ya estás en Miami, te recomiendo ir a SoulCycle, donde podrás hacer ejercicio en una bicicleta, mientras escuchas música y tienes un coach que sacará lo mejor de ti. También puedes encontrar estudios de yoga, pilates como Solidcore; Form50, similar a pilates reformer, pero para gente que necesita ejercicios de bajo impacto o si prefieres bailar y ejercitarte, VXN es lo que necesitas.

¡Hola, mis amores! ¿Cuántas veces se han parado frente a su clóset y se han preguntado “qué me pongo hoy”? Sí, es muy común que nos pase eso, aunque tengamos el clóset abarrotado de ropa. Para que ya no les pase esto, les escribí este post con mis recomendaciones.

Balancea.

Obvio una siempre buscamos vernos bien y mostrar nuestras mejores cualidades: abdomen, brazos, la cintura o las piernas, y está perfecto, solo debes tomar en cuenta el equilibro. Debes evitar a toda costa usar ropa más grande de la que necesitas, pues eso hará que te veas más grande. Otro consejo muy útil es siempre equilibrar; por ejemplo: si estás usando una bufanda o chamarra o blusa llamativa, opta por unos pantalones negros rectos de un solo tono.

Find the balance.

Sí a la blusa blanca.

Siempre elige el blanco más puro, no el que parece marfil, pues puede parecer percudida. A la hora de buscarla, revisa el corte, las mangas, si tiene pinzas o botones. Elige el que mejor te vaya. Eso sí, asegúrate de que las costuras a los hombros estén alineadas y que no haya tirones en la parte delantera o trasera. Para evitar que el blanco se decolore, mejor lávalas en seco.

Yes to the white blouse.

Lograr que todo quede perfecto es muy fácil: debes apagarte a los colores similares, preferiblemente el mismo tono de fondo. Los lunares con rayas o flores suelen ir bien juntos, por ejemplo. Lo mismo es válido para el estampado de leopardo con un patrón sin bichos o el paisley con cuadros. No te recomiendo usar la pata de gallo y el plaid, pues son muy similares y ambos competirán.

Mix prints and patterns

Paris Fashion Week Fall 2021

¡Hola, mis amores! Siempre lo diré: Paris Fashion Week es una de mis semanas favoritas de la moda, no solo por el lugar en el que se lleva a cabo, sino también por las marcas que presentan sus nuevas colecciones. Todas ellas, además de regalarnos propuestas que reflejan el espíritu de lo que estamos viviendo actualmente, al mismo tiempo que nos invitan a soñar o a dejar volar la imaginación. Incluso en esta época en la que todo parece incierto, los diseñadores están avanzando, presentando, y creando vitrinas virtuales que demuestran por qué París es la capital de la moda. A continuación, te hice una selección con algunas de mis pasarelas favoritas.

Dior

La pasarela estuvo inspirada y llena de referencias de los cuentos de hadas que leíamos de niñas. Y para hacerlo aún más especial, el desfile fue en el Salón de los Espejos del Palacio de Versalles, en Francia. Como lo hemos visto en las últimas pasarelas, el show ha tenido que continuar, pero sin público, sin la mirada de los expertos y sin la presencia los amantes de la moda que compartíamos todo en redes sociales. Dior optó este año por transmitir en su página una versión ya filmada la cual llamó “Belleza inquietante”. Aunque el cuento de hadas fue el eje principal de esta colección, no fue aquella historia llena de colores felices como el rosa, el azul cielo u otro, no, Maria Grazia Chiuri optó por una idea más lúgubre de los cuentos de los hermanos Grimm.

The runway was inspired and full of references to the fairy tales we read as children. And to make it even more special, the parade was in the Hall of Mirrors of the Palace of Versailles, in France. As we have seen in the last catwalks, the show must go on, but without an audience, without the eyes of the experts and without the presence of the fashionistas who shared everything on social networks. Dior chose this year to broadcast on its page a version already filmed which was called "Disturbing Beauty." Although the fairy tale was the main axis of this collection, it was not a story full of happy colors such as pink or sky blue, no, Maria Grazia Chiuri opted for a more gloomy idea of the Grimm brothers' tales.

Sin dejar y resaltar lo femenino, Chiuri prefirió representar a las princesas más maduras, valientes, empoderadas y mujeres que ya no esperan a un príncipe para sentirse realizadas.

Detalles femeninos sin llegar a lo cursi; faldas cortas tableadas, faldas largas con vuelo, fueron algunas de las propuestas principales. Vestidos con flores en tonos oscuros; el bordado inglés incorporado en vestidos cortos de piel y en blusas blancas. Blazers con cortes que resaltan la silueta femenina, vestidos de hombro caído. Y, algo muy importante, incorporando el clásico rojo vivo que usaron en los 40 y que hizo tan famoso la casa francesa.

Feminine details in short pleated skirts and long flared skirts were some of the main trends. Dresses with flowers in dark tones; English embroidery incorporated into short leather dresses and white blouses. Blazers with cuts that highlight the feminine silhouette, dropped shoulder dresses. And, something very important, incorporating the classic bright red that they used in the 40s and that made the French brand so famous.

En cuanto a los accesorios, la incorporación de mascadas para cubrir la cabeza se llevará en la ciudad y ya no tanto en playas y campo. Las bolsas pequeñas de piel y clásicas con la insignia de Dior, así como las calcetas y los zapatos con agujetas serán piezas clave.

Louis Vuitton

Un año después de que el Louvre cerrara por la pandemia, el que es el museo más visitado del mundo y el lugar habitual de exposiciones de Louis Vuitton, Nicolas Ghesquière presentó su colección Otoño 2021 en sus galerías vacías Michelangelo y Daru. Ghesquière se unió a Fornasetti, el atelier de Milán fundado por el célebre diseñador del siglo XX Piero Fornasetti, famoso por cubrir muebles y objetos con dibujos surrealistas de edificios, cerraduras, llaves y estatuas antiguas. Partiendo de ahí, Nicolas mezcló estos motivos con imágenes de cámaras térmicas en vestidos de terciopelo, tops de jersey estampados brillantes, chaquetas con capucha de lana y piezas de sastrería para crear una colección que plasma del pasado y el futuro.

Ghesquière joined Fornasetti, the Milan atelier founded by celebrated 20th-century designer Piero Fornasetti, famous for covering furniture and objects with surreal drawings of old buildings, locks, keys and statues. From there, Nicolas mixed these motifs with thermal camera images into velvet dresses, brightly printed jersey tops, wool hooded jackets and pieces of tailoring to create a collection that captures the past and the future.

Miu Miu

Miuccia Prada nos dejó viajar indirectamente con su alegre grupo de modelos a la ciudad de ensueño de Cortina d’Ampezzo en el corazón de los Alpes Dolomitas. En contraste con el majestuoso paisaje de montañas nevadas, el show presentó una serie de vestidos de fiesta esperanzadores combinados con prendas de vestir elegantes de un chalet de esquí, incluidas pieles sintéticas y abrigos con adornos de cristal de Ella Emhoff. Los cascos de esquí con paneles de máscara a juego, fueron el accesorio imprescindible.

Miuccia Prada let us travel indirectly with her cheerful group of models to the dream town of Cortina d’Ampezzo in the heart of the Dolomite Alps. Esta colección es una mezcla de dos influencias: el ambiente de las vacaciones de esquí y la vibra cool chic parisina que ha destacado desde los años 70 hasta el día de hoy. Esas influencias se tradujeron en suéteres Fair Isle, trajes de esquí con salopettes , una faldas y chamarras de tweed con botines plateados que obvio ya me muero por usar.

This collection is a mix of two influences: the ski holiday vibe and the cool Parisian chic vibe that has stood out from the 70's to the present day. FALL 2021 READY-TO-WEAR: Algunas de pasarelas favoritas

¡Hola, mis amores! Me emociona poder escribir otra vez sobre lo que más amo: la moda. Este es el primer fashion month casi al 100% digital. Recordemos que la temporada pasada, hubo una serie de shows en vivo con “sana distancia”. Ahora, las marcas han demostrado su nivel de innovación al presentarnos sus colecciones Fall 2021 Ready-To-Wear, en formatos que van desde videos en IGTV hasta posts en diversas redes sociales. Hoy les platico sobre las que han sido mis favoritas hasta ahora.

Hi my loves! I'm excited to be able to write again about what I love the most: fashion. This is the first fashion month that is almost a 100% digital. Remember that last season there were a series of socially distanced live shows? Now, brands have demonstrated their level of innovation by presenting their Fall 2021 Ready-To-Wear collections, in formats ranging from videos on IGTV to posts on various social networks. Today I am talking about the ones that have been my favorites so far.

Carolina Herrera

La que es una de mis marcas favoritas, cumple 40 años este año. Para conmemorarlo, Wes Gordon creó algunas piezas especiales en honor al aniversario. Las fotos del lookbook fueron hechas en el Empire State Building, teniendo como motivo central de la temporada íconos como los corazones. Los estampados de jirafas y los lunares gráficos en blanco o negro son igualmente llamativos. Amé también los vestidos de lentejuelas con hombros descubiertos.

One of my favorite brands turns 40 this year. To celebrate it Wes Gordon created some special pieces in honor of the anniversary. The lookbook photos were taken in the Empire State Building, with icons such as hearts as the central motif of the season. Giraffe prints and graphic black or white polka dots are equally eye-catching. I also loved the off the shoulder sequin dresses.

Prada

Amé su colección llena de glamour que literalmente brillaba con lentejuelas en un lado y piel sintética en el otro a juego con telas increíbles como el jacquard –aparecieron en muchos de los looks–. La esencia de esta propuesta fueron la simplicidad y el movimiento.

I loved this glamorous collection that literally sparkled with sequins on one side and faux fur on the other to match amazing fabrics like jacquard - they appeared in many of the looks. The essence of this proposal was simplicity and movement.

Fendi

Para su primer desfile de prêt-à-porter enfocado en el sexo femenino, Kim Jones profundizó en algunas de las historias más significativas de la firma italiana: la de las personas que anteriormente ayudaron a darle forma a Fendi. Para la ocasión, las modelos caminaron a través de un grupo de vitrinas en forma de F. Me encantó que los looks fueron casi en puros tonos neutros y que los accesorios fueron protagonistas.

For her first female ready-to-wear show, Kim Jones delved into some of the Italian firm's most significant stories: the people who previously helped shape Fendi. For the occasion, the models walked through a group of F-shaped showcases. I loved that the looks were almost pure neutral tones and that the accessories were the protagonists.

Valentino

Para Pierpaolo Piccioli, el significado de la creatividad en este momento rima con toques punk y toques románticos. Su colección de otoño se representó en los espacios vacíos del histórico Teatro de Milán, cerrado al público desde el comienzo de la pandemia. Los shows de Valentino son experiencias visualmente intensas, llenas de emociones y extravagancia.

For Pierpaolo Piccioli, the meaning of creativity in this moment rhymes with punk touches and romantic touches. His fall collection was performed in the empty spaces of the historic Milan Theater, closed to the public since the beginning of the pandemic. Valentino shows are visually intense experiences, full of emotion and quirkiness.
