Happy Friday my dear ones!!! This first week of regular schedule got my totally unprepared. I know, I had all these resolutions about excercising more, healthy eating, more work and all; what I didn´t expect was to be so tired after just one week. By the way, I´m doing fine with my resolutions, how about you?
Today´s post, is all about daring to use some of that stuff we have abandoned long time ago in a dark part of our wardrobe. You see, I found a solution for using my gray flannel skirt in the middle of the coldest season here in Mexico City. I bought the skirt a few weeks ago, but I haven´t been able to use it that much as the climate has been particularly cold these days. While I was doing a mayor clean up of my wardrobe, I found my leg warmers. Why not? Gray leg warmers and gray flannel skirt? I added a simple white T, my fave leather jacket that you know well, my fave white kicks and I had my sunday outfit. I know, kot what you would except but it was OK for me. Comfy, warm and fashionable at the same time. I must be honest with you, more than a few girls stared at me that day. I can´t define you exactly if they where scared, jealous or looking me as a completely nuts girl, haha. I mean, I firmly believe that fashion is all about mixing, matching and being comfy and ad hoc for the occasion, right? I think that standing from the crowd is always a good thing; working more, trying to do better than the rest, and why not, daring to use pieces of our wardrobe that maybe we never before tried to?
For know I´m leaving you guys, because thanks God we´ve been having a lot of work at the shop, but I´m confident that you can be trendsetter, and not trendfollowers.

Feliz Viernes a todos! Esta semanita si me costó un poco de trabajo acostumbrarse al regreso a la rutina asi que estoy feliz de que el fin de semana ya llegó. No se si les he contado pero yo tengo un problema con mi cama; me encanta dormir, así es que espero poder despertarme el sábado a las 11 mínimo haha.
No se si se han dado cuenta, pero al menos en el DF, Enero es más frío que Diciembre. Ahora bien, hace unas semanas, compré en Zara una falda de franela gris que he usado poco, así es que todos estos días había estado dudando si ponérmela porque serguro me iba a congelar. Siempre les digo que si tenemos nuestros pies calientes, seguramente no tendremos tanto frío, pero es estos días de plano si han estado mega frios. Total que se me ocurrió ponerme unos calentadores de lana con mi falda. Lo se, una locura pero la moda creo se trata de eso, adaptar lo que vemos a lo que tenemos y lo que podemos usar. Debo reconocer que durante mi día, recibí no menos de una barrida de niñas que asombradas, asustadas y preocupadas me veían con cara de “¿Esta niña que hace de sombrero, falda y calentadores?”. Bueno, mi consuelo es que todas las niñas que me veían traían el típico uniforme que cuando hace frío muchas usan; jeans, botas UGG, y chaleco como de montar. No tengo nada contra ese outfit que es bastante calientito, pero decidí cambiarlo un poquitiín. Agregando a la falda un sombrero de lana y los calentadores, pude estar todo el día calientita y cómoda. Este look también es versátil, basta cambiar la chamarra de piel por un saco, y los tenis blancos por unos tacones y listo, tienen otro outfit para salir de noche o ir a una cena. Pues yo por hoy me despido, pero las invito a no tener miedo, a probar, mezclar y cambiar lo que normalmente vemos para lucir un poquito diferentes. Claro, siempre cómodas que es lo principal y de acuerdo a la ocasión. Que tengan bonito fin de semana y nos leemos el martes mis queridos.
