Are dress days over yet?

Well, as promised, I'll be posting a lot of content in the blog... and today, I'll adress a subject that some of you girls have asked me a lot: does the end of summer means the end of shoulderless dresses?
Well, to be honest, there's no correct answer for that question. I personally love dresses year-round, and I firmly believe that it's up to the accesorizing part of the outfit that ultimately determines if you can use a dress for fall or winter.
True, fall in London is not the same as here in Mexico City, and winter in NY or Chicago is almost a no-go for any dress... well, unless you got a driver, no walking to do, and of course you own a cashmere coat. In my personal circumstances, for the transitional months between summer and fall, I absolutely love using dresses, and as I said before, it's the accesories that make the difference. For example, for this editorial I went for this black high heels that don't shout "summer heels" at first... true; you can use them in summer days, but the color palette and materials make it more colder-month-shoes. I added a choker to add some attitute to the outfit, and of course, the classic smile.
Remember, summer is half weather and half state-of-mind, so, you will definitely see a lot of dresses, shoulderless, and espadrilles here.

We are talking
Bonito martes mis amores, cómo están? Yo les cuento que me resisto a dejar atrás el verano al cien por ciento, jaja... y como el clima aquí en el DF todavía tiene un toque veraniego (aunque diluvie cada tarde), a mi, me queda verano para rato.
Todas las revistas, todas las tiendas, ya nos están sugiriendo tonos cafés, verdes, vino y esos colores de otoño... es más, y si quisieran algunos shorts o traje de baño ya los tienen mega arrumbados en las esquinas, jaja, pero bueno, aquí me tienen contestando a la pregunta: los vestidos y la ropa veraniega, se puede usar en otras temporadas?
La respuesta en mi humilde opinión es si. Si, por varias razones, pero la más importante es la siguiente: no todas las ciudades son iguales, y para los que no tenemos frios y vientos extremos como NY, Chicago o Europa, veo totalmente factible usar vestidos por varios meses más. Además, lo más importante de cualquier outfit siempre serán los accesorios, así que con una chamarra de mezclilla grande, unos tenis (zapatos cerrados), este tipo de vestidos y blusas siempre serán buena opción para días relajados.
Para este post, yo decidí usar unos zapatos con tonos ya de la siguiente temporada (cafés, vino, negro) para darle un toque más "transicional" al look, usé el choker.
