¡Feliz jueves, mis amores! Creo que Thanksgiving es una fecha muy bonita. Estoy en NYC y me fascina ver cómo celebran este día especial aquí. Para conmemorarlo, les escribí este post porque creo que diario debemos agradecer todas nuestras bendiciones, las cosas buenas que nos pasan y las lecciones que nos da la vida. Desde hace tiempo pienso antes de dormir las cosas por las que estoy agradecida y esto me hace sentir muy bien. ¡Nunca olvidemos la importancia de la gratitud!

Happy Thursday, my loves!Thanksgiving is a very nice date. I'm in NYC and I'm loving to see how they celebrate this special day here. To commemorate it, I wrote this post because I believe that every day we should count all our blessings, the good things that happen to us and the powerful life lessons. For a few months now I've been thinking before sleeping the things for which I’m grateful and this makes me feel very good. Let's never forget the importance of gratitude!

Feliz miércoles, mis amores. Les escribo este post desde NYC para platicarles sobre una tendencia que he visto mucho últimamente: los blazers usados como vestidos. Esta prenda ya no solo es indispensable para trabajar o para un evento formal. Ahora es un elemento básico y necesario en el guardarropa de cualquier amante de la moda.

Happy Wednesday, my loves. I’m writing this post from NYC to tell you about a trend that I’ve seen a lot lately: blazers dresses. This garment is no longer only indispensable for work. Now it’s a basic and necessary element in the wardrobe of any fashionista.

Desde los blazers largos o hasta esos nuevos vestidos diseñados específicamente con las características típicas de esta prenda, todos son una buena opción cuando tratamos de crear la mejor estética de mujer poderosa. ¿Lo mejor de todo? Se pueden usar de día o de noche.

From long blazers or even those new dresses designed specifically with the typical characteristics of this garment, they all are a good option when we try to create the best aesthetic of a powerful woman. The best of all? You can wear them at any time of day.

¿Qué usar en la parte de abajo? Creo que entre más conservadora seas, es mejor. Con esto me refiero a no llevar nada o igual y sumar unas mallas o leggings cool. Si el blazer es estampado, apuesta por usar un solo color como el negro, el verde oscuro o hasta burgundy.

What to wear bellow? I think the more conservative you are, the better. By this I mean not wearing anything or the same and adding leggings or long socks. If the blazer is printed, try single colors such as black, dark green or even burgundy.

Travel Diaries: El Careyes Club & Residences! ☀️

¡Hola, mis amores! Espero que estén teniendo una semana increíble. Estoy de regreso en mi blog para contarles sobre mi viaje a Costa Careyes. Este es uno de mis destinos favoritos en México que está entre Manzanillo y Puerto Vallarta. Bueno, pues esta vez viajamos a Careyes para ir a una boda. Para los que me preguntaron, el vestido que usé es de Trista. Durante estos días, nos hospedamos en El Careyes Club & Residences. Amé todo el concepto y por eso quiero platicarles sobre este increíble lugar.

Hello, my loves! I hope you are having an amazing week. I’m back in my blog to tell you everything about my trip to Costa Careyes. This is one of my favorite destinations in Mexico and it’s hidden between Manzanillo and Puerto Vallarta. This time we traveled to Careyes to attend a wedding. For those who asked me, the dress I weared is from Trista. We stayed at El Careyes Club & Residences. I loved the whole concept and that's why I want to tell you more about it.

ACCOMODATIONS

Me fascinaron cada uno de los espacios de estas residencias, las únicas que están frente al mar en todo Careyes. Como les he contado antes, casi todas las casas o departamentos están en acantilados. El nuevo diseño de los departamentos está hecho por los arquitectos mexicanos Gabriela Carrillo y Mauricio Rocha. Lo mejor de este concepto es su atmósfera de lujo, relajación y buen servicio que se puede compartir en familia o con amigos. Estas residencias se pueden rentar o comprar según el número de personas con las que vayas. ¿La razón? Sus diferentes tamaños que van de los 100 metros cuadrados hasta 535 metros cuadrados. Each of the spaces in these residences left me breathless. They are the only beachfront residences available in Careyes so they are really attractive and exclusive. The new design of the apartments is made by Mexican architects Gabriela Carrillo and Mauricio Rocha. The best of this concept is its atmosphere of luxury, relaxation and good service that can be shared with family or friends. Otro de los atractivos de este lugar es que tiene servicio de hotel tanto en los departamentos como en las albercas y los restaurantes. Además, en este lugar también hay paddle boards, kayaks, bicicletas de montaña, canchas de tenis, además del área de Wellness y gimnasio. Estos dos últimos me encantaron, ya saben que soy fan de hacer ejercicio.

Another of the special features of this place is that it has hotel service in the apartments and in the pools and restaurants. In addition, there are also paddle boards, kayaks, mountain bikes, tennis courts, the Wellness area and gym. I loved these last two, you know I'm a fan of exercising.

Este restaurante se basa en la sostenibilidad ambiental y siempre trata de apoyar a proveedores locales como agricultores o pescadores. Lo mejor es que puedes reservar para ir a cenar con hasta ocho personas y disfrutar de los platillos preparados por el chef.

This restaurant is based on environmental sustainability and always tries to support local suppliers such as farmers or fishermen. The best thing is that you can book to go dinner with up to eight people and enjoy the dishes prepared by the chef.

DESTINATION

Anteriormente ya he ido al festival de cine y arte, Arte Careyes. Esta vez descubrí que también se lleva a cabo un torneo de polo que es en Semana Santa llamado Agua Alta.

I’ve already gone to Arte Careyes Film & Art Festival and had a great time. Recently I discovered that there is also a polo tournament that is held in Semana Santa called Agua Alta.

No puedo vivir sin estos helados. Son sin azúcar, sin lácteos y están hechos con ingredientes orgánicos. Mis sabores favoritos son carbón activado, matcha y cacao. Lo mejor de todo es que puedes ponerle toppings como granola, frutos secos o hasta galleta. ¡Son una delicia!

I can't live without these ice creams. They are sugar free, dairy free and made with organic ingredients. My favorite flavors are activated carbon, matcha and cocoa. The best of all is that you can add toppings like granola, nuts or even biscuits. They are delicious!

This Mexican brand specializes in the production of ice cream with liquid nitrogen. For my last birthday, we created a special ice cream and now whenever I go, I choose that one. I love that it has a thousand options that go from the milk with which your ice cream is made, to the toppings that you can add to create the perfect mix.

These are the prettiest ice cream I've ever seen. They are shaped like a flower and the petals can be chocolate, strawberry or even pistachio. I like that you can add a macaroni and that they are unique.

Travel Diary: Israel! 🇮🇱

¡Hola, mis amores! Quienes me conocen bien saben cuánto me gusta Israel. Por eso, sin pensarlo dos veces dije “sí” cuando me invitaron a pasar unos días en este increíble lugar. Además de divertirme mucho con dos de mis mejores amigas conociendo lo mejor de Israel, regresé con un regalo que no puedes encontrar en ninguna tienda: tuve tiempo de hacer una pausa y para desconectarme. Hoy por fin pude sentarme a escribirles mi diario de viaje en el que les incluyo mis spots favoritos y los looks que usé en cada lugar. ¡Espero que les guste!

Hi my loves! Those who know me well also know how much I like Israel. That’s why without thinking twice I said "yes" when they invited me to spend a few days in this amazing place. ¿Qué conocimos?

El primer lugar que visitamos fue Old Jaffa, famoso por sus galerías de arte, restaurantes, cafés, postres y mercados urbanos.

The best things to do?

The first place we visited was Old Jaffa, famous for its art galleries, restaurants, cafes, desserts and urban markets.

Caminando por ahí, pudimos conocer Flea Market y Carmel Market. El segundo es el mercado más grande de Tel Aviv. ¡Amé la vibra y los colores! ¿Mi parte favorita de la ciudad? Neve Tzedek. Es una zona llena de tiendas, moda y buena comida.

Walking around, we found Flea Market and Carmel Market. The second is the largest market in Tel Aviv. I loved the vibe and the colors! My favorite part of the city? Neve Tzedek. It is an area full of stores, fashion and good food.

La mejor forma de terminar el día fue viendo el atardecer en la playa. ¡Amé!

The best way to end the day was watching the sunset on the beach. It was unforgettable!

I really liked that it is beachfront and specializes in traditional Middle Eastern dishes.

¿Qué hicimos aquí?

¡Nadar! Este lugar es el más bajo de la tierra con 422 metros bajo el nivel del mar.

The best thing to do?

Float! This place is the lowest on earth with 422 meters below sea level.

MASADA

¿Qué conocimos?

Para llegar tomamos un cable-car. Una vez aquí, descubrimos más sobre este lugar que alguna vez fue la gran fortaleza de Herodes y que hoy es considerado Patrimonio de la Humanidad de la UNESCO.

The best thing to do?

First we took a cable-car and once we were there, we discovered more about this place that once was the great strength of Herod and that today is considered a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

DESIERTO DE JUDEA

¿Qué hicimos aquí?

Tomamos un Jeep Tour y vimos monasterios escondidos construidos en las rocas, además de algunos manantiales naturales. Por último, dimos un paseo en camello que estuvo súper divertido.

The best things to do?

We went to a Jeep Tour to find hidden monasteries built on the rocks and natural springs. We also took a camel ride that was really fun.

JERUSALEM

¿Qué conocimos?

Fuimos a Old City para visitar lugares imperdibles como el Muro de los Lamentos, la iglesia del Santo Sepulcro, el Barrio judío, el Cardo, Shuk y el Museo de Israel. Después fuimos a una cata de vinos israelíes.

The best things to do?

We went to Old City to visit iconic spots such as the Wailing Wall, the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, the Jewish Quarter, the Cardo, Shuk and the Israel Museum. Then we went to a wine tasting.

Eucalyptus

Este restaurante está en el barrio de los artistas. Cada platillo representa una o varias escenas bíblicas y todas las especias o hierbas que se usan para hacerlos, crecen en las colinas de Jerusalén y Judea.

This restaurant is in the artists district. Each dish represents one or several biblical passages and all the spices or herbs that are used grow on the hills of Jerusalem and Judea.

Nori Hand Roll Bar

No saben cuánto amo ir a este lugar que está en Barrio Santa Fe. Este restaurante se especializa en rollos de sushi sin cortar que se comen con la mano. Están hechos a base de alga y rellenos de diferentes especialidades como spicy tuna, salmón o hasta Rib Eye. En la carta también se encuentran otros rollos, edamames, ensalada de alga y otros platillos típicos gastronomía oriental. Lo que más me gusta es el ambiente casual y las sake nights. ¡Amo ir con mis amigas!

I love this place that is located in Barrio Santa Fe. This restaurant specializes in uncut sushi rolls that can be eaten using your hand. They are made with seaweed and stuffed with different specialties such as spicy tuna, salmon or even Rib Eye. The menu also includes other traditional rolls, edamames, seaweed salad and other typical oriental cuisine options. What I like most is the casual atmosphere and the sake nights. I like to go there with my friends!

Tori Tori

Sin duda otro de mis preferidos. Este lugar se define por ser un ícono de la cocina japonesa en México. Fue fundado por el Dr. Katsumi Kumoto y es considerado hasta el día de hoy, uno de los mejores restaurantes en todo el país. Me encanta la fusión de la arquitectura y el arte oriental culinario. Les recomiendo pedir el Alaska Roll, no está en la carta pero es mi favorito.

Definitely another of my favorites. This place is defined as an icon of Japanese cuisine in Mexico. It was founded by Dr. Katsumi Kumoto and is considered one of the best restaurants in the whole country. I love the fusion of architecture and culinary oriental art. I recommend Alaska Roll, it's not on the menu but it's my favorite.

Mis trucos ‘detox’ para después de una fiesta o viaje

¡Hola, mis amores! Ya estoy de regreso en mi casa y aunque amo viajar, también me encanta retomar mi rutina, dormir bien, comer sano y hacer ejercicio. Después de varios días de comer deli y pasarla increíble, necesitaba darle reset a mi cuerpo para evitar los efectos negativos del exceso de azúcar, comida y hasta café o vino. En base a esto, decidí hacerles este post con algunos tips que espero que también les funcionen durante la época de viajes y fiestas que está por llegar.

Hi my loves! I’m finally at home and although I love to travel, I also like my daily which includes good night's sleep, healthy food, water and exercise. After several days of eating really good and having an amazing time, I needed to reset my body to avoid the negative effects of excess sugar, food and even coffee or wine. Based on this, I decided to make this post with some tips that I hope you find useful during this time of the year that we start traveling and partying hard.

Ejercicio

De las cosas que más disfruto cuando regreso, es ir a hacer ejercicio. Hay veces que hasta tomo dos clases seguidas en Clymb y no saben lo bien que me siento al “sudar” todos los excesos. Otra alternativa es salir a correr o tratar de caminar cuando menos 40 minutos. ¡El cuerpo realmente lo agradece!

Exercise

Of the things I enjoy most when I return is exercise. There are times that I even take two classes in a row at Clymb because I love to "sweat" all the excesses LOL. Another good alternative is to run or try to walk for at least 40 minutes. Your body will thank you!

Extra hidratación

Además de tomar agua, les recomiendo bebidas complementarias como el agua de coco, café en dosis bajas, el té de jengibre o menta o hasta un jugo de tomate o de naranja para reponer vitaminas, minerales, enzimas y antioxidantes.

Boost of hydration

In addition to drinking water, I recommend complementary drinks such as coconut water, ginger or mint tea or even a tomato juice to replenish vitamins, minerals, enzymes and antioxidants.

Comida post fiesta o viaje

Para nivelar el metabolismo, me funciona mucho regresar a mi amado desayuno de frutos rojos, yogur griego, gelatina y granola, por ejemplo. Otras alternativas que me funcionan para lograr el equilibrio son los smoothies verdes, un desayuno alto en proteína o ensalada y de postre un pedacito de chocolate amargo u obleas de té matcha.

What to eat after a party or trip?

I always return to my beloved breakfast: red fruits, Greek yogurt, jelly and granola. Other healthy options are green smoothies, a high-protein breakfast or salads and a bit of bitter chocolate for dessert.

Soy fan del complejo B, la vitamina C y el Omega 3. Siempre trato de incluir en mi dieta alimentos altos en ellos para neutralizar los radicales libres o toxinas en el proceso de desintoxicación y para fortalecer las defensas.

I’m a big fan of complex B, vitamin C and Omega 3. I always try to include them to neutralize free radicals or toxins and to strengthen defenses.

¡Hola, mis amores! Como ya les he platicado antes, soy fan de Giambattista Valli x H&M. Me encantó poder usar algunos de los vestidos y ahora estoy feliz de escribirles sobre este desfile que sin duda, era uno de los más esperados del año.

Hi my loves! As you know, I’m a big fan of Giambattista Valli x H&M. I loved being able to wear some of the dresses and now I’m so happy to write about this runway that was undoubtedly one of the most anticipated of 2019.

A diferencia de las colabs con diseñadores anteriores que se lanzaron en otoño, esta colaboración tuvo un "pre-drop" a finales de mayo con nueve looks exclusivos a la venta en algunas tiendas y online. Ahora, la firma realizó un desfile en Roma en le que presentó todos los diseños.

Unlike the colabs with previous designers that were launched every fall, this collaboration had a "pre-drop" at the end of May with nine looks. A few days ago the brand made a fashion show in Rome in which they finally revealed all the designs that make up this amazing collection.

La pasarela se realizó en Roma, en medio del esplendor de los salones dorados del Palazzo Doria Pamphilj. Algunas de las modelos que desfilaron fueron Kendall Jenner, Vittoria Cerretti, Anok Yai y Grace Elizabeth.

The truth is that "opposites attract," the collaboration between H&M and designer Giambattista Valli is proof of that. The catwalk was held in Rome, amid the splendor of the golden halls of the Palazzo Doria Pamphilj. Some of the models that paraded were Kendall Jenner, Vittoria Cerretti, Anok Yai and Grace Elizabeth.

Valli nació en Roma, pero su marca homónima lanzada en 2005, está en París. El diseñador se mudó a la capital francesa para aprender más sobre y experimentar con la alta costura. Conocido por sus vestidos con capas de tul y su estilo romántico extravagante, es uno de mis favoritos.

Valli was born in Rome, but his brand launched in 2005, is located in Paris. The designer moved to this city to learn more and experience with haute couture. Known for his dresses with layers of tulle and his extravagant romantic style, he is one of my favorites.
