¡Feliz domingo, mis amores! El fin de semana pasó muy rápido pero estoy muy emocionada por todas las nuevas oportunidades de cada lunes. Hoy quiero escribirles sobre el cuidado del pelo y lo mucho que me ha servido regalarme unos minutos cada fin de semana para mantenerlo sano. Vitamins First

Dicen por ahí que la belleza empieza de adentro hacia afuera y la verdad es que desde que cambié mi alimentación y agregué más verduras, sí me ha mejorado mucho el pelo. Los alimentos que son ricos en vitamina C, vitamina A, hierro y Omega 3 ayudarán a fortalecerlo. ¡No te olvides de las proteínas!

They say that beauty starts from the inside out and the truth is that since I changed my diet and added more vegetables, it has improved my hair a lot. Foods that are high in vitamin C, vitamin A, iron and Omega 3’s will help strengthen your hair. Don’t forget also eating proteins!

Deep Conditioning

Uno de mis mejores aliados de belleza, sin duda es el acondicionador. Si sientes el pelo súper seco, intenta aplicar una mascarilla (de medios a puntas) una vez a la semana y dejarla de 10 a 20 minutos.

One of my best beauty allies is the hair conditioner. If you feel your hair dry, try using a mask once a week and leave it on for 10 to 20 minutes.

No Heat Challenge

El lunes para muchas es sinónimo de regresar a las herramientas de calor. Aunque podría ser difícil al principio, intenta renunciar a ellas cuando menos 10 días. En lugar de usar la secadora o la plancha, trata de dejar que el pelo se seque al natural y de peinarlo con un bun o una trenza. ¡Tu pelo lo agradecerá!

5 afirmaciones que te ayudarán a lograr mejores looks en menos tiempo

¡Feliz viernes, mis amores! Por fin es fin de semana. Y qué mejor momento que estos tres días para invertirle tiempo y energía a organizar la ropa y accesorios en nuestros clósets. ¿Cómo le hago para vestirme rápido y lograr combinaciones cool? Bueno pues el secreto está en el orden. Obviamente hay veces en las que me asusto de ver el desastre en mi clóset, pero también hay otras en las que me pongo las pilas y le dedico un par de horas a este tema para que entre semana –cuando salga corriendo– pueda encontrar más fácil lo que busco. ¡Espero que les sirvan mis tips!

Happy Friday, my loves! Finally the weekend is here. And what better time than these next three days to invest time and energy to organize clothes and accessories in our closets. How do I get dressed quickly and achieve cool looks? Well, the secret is in how you order your closet. Obviously there are times when I get scared to see the disaster in this place, but there are also others in which I dedicate a couple of hours to this topic so that during the week when I'm in a hurry, I can find what I'm looking for way easier. I hope you like my tips!

1. No guardarás ropa que no uses.

¿No has usado esa blusa, chamarra o cinturón en los últimos 12 meses? Entonces dile “thank you next”, estilo Marie Kondo jaja. Lo que a mí me funciona es sacar eso que literal tengo olvidado y analizar si sí me lo voy a poner o no alguna vez. Me ha pasado que llego a encontrar cosas nuevas y hasta con etiqueta. En esos casos lo mejor es regalar y donar.

1. Don't store clothes that you don’t really wear.

Haven't worn that blouse, jacket, or belt in the past 12 months? Then say "thank you, next", like Marie Kondo does hahaha. What works really good for me is to take out what I have literally forgotten and think deeply if I'm really going to wear it… or not. Donate what you can! Even garments that still have tags on or are in great condition.

2. Organizarás no por hobbie sino como parte de tu rutina semanal.

Si lo que buscas es lograr salir más rápido de tu casa en las mañanas, la única forma de lograrlo es teniendo tu ropa y accesorios ordenados. A mí me gusta dividir en colores o por actividad (para trabajar, para la escuela, para el fin de semana, para la playa, por ejemplo). Así encontrar esa blusita blanca que amas y que te es tan útil no se convertirá en un problema.

2. Organize not just as a hobbie but as part of your weekly routine.

If you are looking to get out of your house faster in the morning, the only way to achieve this is by having your clothes and accessories in order. I like to divide them into colors or by activity (to work, for school, for the weekend, for the beach, for example). So finding that white blouse that you love will not be a problem.

3. No coleccionarás ganchos

Puede haber cosas que llenan tu clóset que ni siquiera son ropa. ¿Tiene ganchos extras que te ocupan espacio? No lo pienses dos veces y regálalos o reubícalos. Me acuerdo perfecto que en algún momento llegué a tener a hasta esos ganchos que te dan en la tintorería jaja. Seguro a ti también te ha pasado.

3. Don´t collect hangers.  

There may be things that fill your closet that are not even clothes. Do you have extra hangers that take up space? Don’t think twice and give them away or relocate them. I remember perfectly that at some point I had some of those hangers that you get at the dry cleaners haha.

4. Le buscarás un lugar específico a tus accesorios.

Yo amo las cajitas organizadoras para pulseras, aretes, collares y lentes. Siempre trato de tenerlas junto a todas mis bolsas y perfumes para así localizar rápido esos complementos que le darán un toque especial a mi look.

4. Look for a specific place for your accessories.

I love storage boxes for bracelets, earrings, necklaces and sunglasses. I always try to have them near my bags and perfumes to quickly locate those accessories that will give the final touch to my look.

5. No tendrás zapatos en el piso.

Una de las mejores inversiones son las repisas y organizadores. Hay miles, desde los que se cuelgan, hasta los que puedes hacer parte de tu clóset. Además de facilitar la tarea de limpiar el clóset, te ayudará a mantener el orden.

¡Hola, mis amores! Hoy les escribo este post en el que le hago un homenaje a Karl Lagerfeld, uno de los personajes que más me ha impactado conocer en la vida y que lamentablemente murió el día de hoy en París a sus 85 años. ¿Se acuerdan que antes de que mi blog se llamara pamallier.com, se llamaba perslasycamelias? Bueno pues siempre me ha gustado el trabajo que el káiser de la moda hizo para marcas como Chanel y Fendi y desde que estudiaba diseño textil, me gustaba mucho leer sobre su trayectoria para tomar elementos icónicos que él usaba como inspiración.

Hi my loves! Today I am writing this post in which I pay tribute to Karl Lagerfeld, one of the people I have been most fortunate to know and who unfortunately died today in Paris at the age of 85. Can you remember that before my blog was called pamallier.com, it was called perslasycamelias? Well, I've always loved the work that this fashion designer did for brands such as Chanel and Fendi and since I was in school, I really liked reading about his career to take iconic elements that he used as inspiration.

Cuando tuve la oportunidad de ir por primera vez a un desfile de Chanel, de ver a Karl y de ir a sus talleres en París, quedó grabado en mi corazón el poder y potencial de soñar en grande. Estoy segura de que el trabajo de este genio siempre será recordado y que nos seguirá inspirando a millones que como yo nos encanta la moda, y nos enamoramos de sus creaciones desde la primera vez que vimos un saco negro o una bolsa clásica…

When I had the opportunity to go to a Chanel fashion show for the first time, to see Karl and go to Chanel’s workshops in Paris, I felt the power and potential of dreaming big. I’m sure that the work of this genius will always be remembered and that he will continue to inspire millions who also love fashion and manage to fall in love with his amazing creations.

Mi primera pasarela la de la colección Otoño-Invierno 2017 de Chanel y nunca se me va a olvidar el cohete de 15 metros que despegó adentro del Grand Palais… Lagerfeld siempre buscó crear los escenarios perfectos para enseñar sus creaciones.

I'm not sorry to say this… since I was a little girl I dreamed of going to a Chanel show in Paris, and I must confess, that my excitement whenever I can go and see Karl's work, is enormous. The first time I attended to a Chanel runway was in 2017 and I will never forget the 15 meter rocket that took off inside the Grand Palais ... Lagerfeld always sought to create the perfect scenarios to show his creations.

5 tips para no verte cansada en lunes

¡Feliz lunes, mis amores! Estoy segura de que a ustedes también les pasa que su fin de semana está tan lleno de actividades que llega el lunes y les gustaría tener un par de días más para realmente descansar. Como eso es caso imposible porque tenemos que regresar a la rutina, quise compartirles algunos de mis tips de belleza para evitar a que el cansancio afecte a la piel. ¡Espero que les sirvan y que me compartan los suyos!

Los ojos primero

El cansancio de refleja en tus ojos y los hace verse mucho más chiquitos y cerrados, además de que existen las ojeras y círculos oscuros. Por eso, este es el primer paso en mi rutina para combatir los signos visibles de fatiga. Lo que mejor me funciona es meter mis mascarillas para ojos en el refri y usarlas cuando están frías. A veces también me gusta usar algunas herramientas que tonifiquen y productos que se enfoquen en la piel hinchada y las bolsas debajo de los ojos.

Focus on the eyes

Your eyes are the first place to show tiredness. They really get smaller on top of developing dark shadows. Therefore, this is the first step in my beauty routine to fight visible signs of fatigue. What works best for me is putting my face masks in the fridge and using them when they are cold. Sometimes I also like to use some toning tools and products that focus on swollen skin and bags under the eyes.

Sí a la crema de noche

El otro día leí un artículo en Vogue que decía que el sueño no se recupera y que no sirve de mucho dormir horas el fin de semana si entre semana no aprovechamos el tiempo y nos vamos a la cama temprano. Yo trato de dormir todos los días entre 7 y 8 horas para que el cuerpo pueda eliminar toxinas, regenerarse, equilibrarse y renovarse.

¡Feliz Día del Amor y la Amistad! Siempre me ha gustado esta fecha porque la relaciono con buenos momentos y cosas dulces jaja. Cuando me preguntan qué planes tengo para el 14 de febrero, siempre digo que en los primeros lugares de la lista está comer rico y consentirme. Para mí, la mejor forma de hacerlo es regalándote unas horas al día para disfrutar de algún postre, un masaje, una café o hasta haciéndote manicure. Happy Valentine’s Day! I have always liked this particular date because I relate it to good times and delicious food like sweets, chocolates, coffee and desserts. When they ask me what plans I have for February 14th, I always say that at the top of the list is to eat what I like the most and to pamper myself. It is the first ice cream shop in Mexico that makes its ice cream and milkshakes with liquid nitrogen. I'm a big fan of this place because you can customize your desserts. One of my favorites is the Oreo ice cream and I also like the has double chocolate one. The most fun part is choosing your toppings!

¡Hola, mis amores! Esta edición de New York Fashion Week, ha estado llena de momentos inolvidables. Siempre será una bendición poder ir a mis desfiles favoritos y ver todas las nuevas tendencias o propuestas de marcas que he amado y comprado desde siempre.

Hi my loves! New York Fashion Week has been full of unforgettable moments. It will always be a blessing to be able to go to my favorite fashion shows and see all the new trends and collections of brands that I’ve loved and bought almost my whole life.

Aunque hacía muchísimo frío, disfrute al máximo este viaje a Nueva York y traté de hacer muchas cosas divertidas en los momentos libres que tenía entre una pasarela y otra. Antes de irme de esta ciudad, quise escribirles este recap, en el que les platico un poquito más sobre las colecciones que más me gustaron.

Although it is very cold, I enjoyed this trip to New York and tried to do as many fun things whenever I had some free time I had between each runway show. Before leaving this city, I wanted to write this recap, in which I tell you a little more about the collections that I liked the most.

TORY BURCH

Esta colección estuvo inspirada en la actitud progresista del arte moderno. Una de mis diseñadoras favoritas interpretó este tema y le dio su ya característico toque de ligereza. Me fascinaron los vestidos con estampado floral –en midi y maxi– y los abrigos de lana. ¡100% usaría todos sus accesorios!

This collection was inspired by the progressive attitude of Modern art. One of my favorite female designers interpreted this theme and gave it her characteristic touch of lightness. I really liked the floral print dresses, the wool coats and of course, all the accessories!

CAROLINA HERRERA

Me encantó la nueva propuesta de Wes Gordon con vestidos cóctel y vestidos de gala con estampados florales, mucho volumen y colores súper llamativos como el amarillo o el azul. También amé los trajes de día y el tul para los outfits de noche.

I loved Wes Gordon's collection for Carolina Herrera that had cocktail dresses and gala dresses with floral prints, lots of volume and striking colors (like yellow and blue). I also loved the suits and the tulle touches for the evening outfits.

COACH

El artista textil Kaffe Fassett se unió a Coach para crear esta propuesta inspirada en la Costa Oeste. Lo que más me gustó de la colección fue el macramé, el bordado, los adornos y detalles de encaje.

The textile artist Kaffe Fassett joined Coach to create this proposal inspired by the West Coast. What I liked most about the collection was the macramé, the embroidery, the adornments and lace details.

MICHAEL KORS

¡Qué mejor forma de cerrar New York Fashion Week que con una gran fiesta! Michael Kors hizo un homenaje al Studio 54 en una locación increíble con bolas de disco, glitter, brillo y una vibra disco que literalmente me hizo bailar. Amé los vestidos con lentejuelas, las plumas, aplicaciones y los estampados florales, combinados con animal print. Otra cosa que me pareció muy cool fue cómo la mayoría de las modelos llevaban el layering a otro nivel, con accesorios como tocados, bufandas y bolsas XXL.

What better way to close New York Fashion Week than with a big party! Michael Kors paid tribute to Studio 54 in an incredible location with disco balls, glitter and disco vibes that literally made me dance. I loved the dresses with sequins, feathers, applications and floral prints mixed and matched with animal print. Another thing that I found very cool was how most of the models took layering to another level, with accessories such as head pieces, scarves and XXL bags.

Hola, mis amores. ¡Estoy feliz porque por fin estoy en una de mis ciudades favoritas y en New York Fashion Week! ¿Qué más puedo pedir? Como ya saben, amo el mes de la moda y hoy quiero platicarles un poco sobre cómo armo mis outfits para esta fecha especial.

Hi my loves. I'm so happy to be in one of my favorite cities specially since it's New York Fashion Week! What else can I ask for? As you know, I love Fashion Week and today I want to tell some of my fashion tricks to achieve all my outfits for this special week.

Les puedo decir que todo el tema de ver qué usar en Fashion Week es muy divertido pero también debe ser algo fácil y práctico. En mi experiencia como blogger, siempre estamos corriendo entre desfiles, presentaciones de diseñadores, desayunos, cenas y fiestas. Suena muy cool pero por eso puede ser difícil estar cambiando de ropa varias veces al día y no perder el equilibrio entre el estilo y la comodidad. Espero que estos tips también les sirvan para lograr looks increíbles en esos días en los que tienen todo menos tiempo. ¡A seguir corriendo!

I can tell you that finding out what to wear in Fashion Week is fun but it should also be easy. In my experience as a blogger, we are always running between runways, designer presentations, breakfasts, dinners and parties. It sounds very cool but it can be difficult to be changing your outfit several times a day and not sacrificing style and comfort. I hope these tips will also help you on those days when you have little time. Let’s keep running!

LAYERING!

Muchas veces les he hablado de esta técnica que sin duda es infalible en Fashion Week porque ayuda a transformar un look en otro completamente diferente, agregando o quitando prendas. Además, ahorita está haciendo mucho frío y es básico “pensar en capas” para los momentos en los que entras a lugares con calefacción o cuando sales a la calle y cambia el clima.

I’ve already told you about this technique many times. Undoubtedly this trick is useful in Fashion Week because it helps us change into a new look that's completely different by adding or removing pieces. Right now it is very cold in NYC and it is necessary to "think in layers" for those moments when you go into places with heating or when you go out and the weather changes.

BOLD COLORS

Amo usar colores llamativos porque además de ser mood boosters, son clave para formar looks que llamen la atención.

I love using bright colors because they automatically improve your mood and make you feel happy. Bold colors also attract attention.

STATEMENT ACCESSORIES

Siempre digo que el accesorio correcto, puede transformar cualquier look. Muchas veces uso tacones para ir a los desfiles pero después me cambio a tenis y trato de llevar bolsas chiquitas para moverme fácilmente de un lugar a otro.

I always say that the right accessory can elevate any look. Many times I use heels to go to most runway shows but after that I change my shoes and wear sneakers and try to use small bags to move easily from one place to another.

THINK OUTSIDE THE BOX

Ya han visto el tamaño de mis maletas jaja pero a veces, por más ropa que traiga en ellas, me es imposible no repetir algunos básicos. Para no quedarme sin opciones, uso accesorios con aplicaciones o diferentes telas y texturas.

You’ve already seen the size of my luggage but sometimes when I bring more clothes it’s impossible not to wear some basics several times. Just to have more options, I use accessories with applications or different fabrics and textures.

COMFORT FIRST

Siempre de usar menos tiempo tacones y traer varios pares de tenis para estar cómoda y caminar horas.

It's important to bring sneakers and be comfortable for most of the day and being able to walk for hours and wear our heels as less as possible.

COLOR COORDINATE

Tanto si eres un minimalista como si amas los estampados, armar un look en una sola gama de color, casi siempre es un acierto asegurado.

Valentine’s Day Inspired Accessories

¡Hola, mis amores! Siempre he creído que el sentimiento hacia San Valentín es de amor absoluto o indiferencia total. Independientemente de que les guste o no esta fecha especial (¡yo amo el romance!), tenemos que reconocer que la paleta de colores del 14 de febrero, es perfecta para darle color hasta al outfit más básico. Como sé que a ustedes igual que a mí a veces se les puede complicar usar rojo o rosa, les hice este post con algunas claves para incluir estos tonos y crear looks increíbles.

Hi my loves! I’ve always believed that either you love or hate Valentine’s Day. Whether you’re firmly on board the Valentine’s Day train (I love romance!) or a little skeptical about this day, we can all agree that the Valentine’s Day color palette is perfect to elevate almost every outfit. As I know sometimes it can be difficult to use red or pink, I made this post with some tips to include these tones and achieve cool looks.

Heartbeat!

Aunque febrero sea el mes clave para temas e íconos de San Valentín, muchas marcas tienen una gran selección de artículos en forma de corazón. Desde hace mucho tiempo estoy enamorada (literalmente) de accesorios inspirados en el amor como lentes, aretes, anillos o bolsas. La clave para nivelarlo con el resto de tu look es llevar solo uno con este diseño.

Although February is the month for Valentine's themes and icons, many brands have a large selection of heart-shaped items. For a long time I have been in love (literally) with accessories inspired by love such as lenses, earrings, rings or bags. The key is to choose only one with this design.

Red Is The New Black

El rojo además de ser uno de mis colores favoritos, es definitivamente uno de los más atractivos pero no es fácil de usar. Mi combinación favorita es rojo con blanco o negro y si hablamos de tono prefiero el rojo brillante.

Red besides being one of my favorite colors, it is definitely one of the most attractive but it isn’t easy to wear. My favorite combo is red with white or black and I almost always choose bright red.

Pink Thoughts

El rosa además de que te hace sentir más feliz, le da vida a cualquier outfit. Intenten usarlo en algún accesorio o de combinarlo con denim. ¡Nunca falla!

Pink besides the fact that makes you feel happier, brings to life every outfit. Try using it in an accessory or matching it with denim.

¡Feliz lunes, mis amores! Muchos de ustedes me preguntaron en Instagram de quién era el vestido que usé para una boda a la que fui este fin de semana e igual que en muchas veces anteriores, casi siempre que tengo fiestas especiales, trato de usar vestidos hechos por diseñadores mexicanos.
